The Speight’s Ale House in Petone has a little something to offer everyone... clean and warm surrounds at the beginning of a vibrant Jackson Street.

First opened in 2004, the Ale House has been providing Petone and Hutt Valley residents with our famous tasty Southern fare seven days a week without fail. Serving meals all day from the moment we open till the kitchen closes means that, whether you’re looking for a quick snack or a hearty meal, you’ll seldom be turned away. We offer a comprehensive menu for young and old, and offer a brunch menu on the weekends for those in need of black pudding or a ‘real’ breakfast!

We are happy to cater for large groups, either in the main restaurant or in the upstairs function room. Set menus are available, and we will work with you to ensure that all requirements are met.

And of course we have beer... lots of beer!

We offer the full range of Speight’s beers. These seven fine ales are complimented with seasonal releases during the year... and these seasonal releases are available at Speight’s Ale Houses exclusively.
